Press Release: Berwyn Devon Business and Professional Association announces Business and Citizen of the Year awards

Nick Vandekar, President of The Berwyn Devon Business and Professional Association announced today the recipients of the Business and Citizen of the Year Awards for 2011.

Business of the Year 2011 is awarded to Mary Schultz and Berwyn Montessori for their hard work within the community planning and organizing the 2010 Holiday Tree Lighting Event, 2011 Easter Egg Hunt and general contributions to the community over the past year.

Citizen of the Year 2011 is awarded to Navy Corpsman James "Jay" Raffetto a graduate of Conestoga High School injured in Afghanistan whilst serving with 1st Recon U S. Marine Corps when he was struck by an IED for his courage and example to this community of never giving up and pressing on whatever the obstacle.

Awards will be presented at the Annual Dinner to be held this year at Jack Ansley Photography, 219 Lancaster Ave, Devon PA 19333 on June 8th beginning at 6.00 PM.
